Sanding Blocks Workshop.. April 4, 2009

WorkshopsText Box: We strive to have a workshop the first Saturday of the month following the Executive Board meeting. It offers an opportunity to learn a new skill or improve your proficiency in a skill that you have but haven’t utilized lately. We have some very skilled members in this club and they are more than willing to share their expertise with their fellow woodworkers. The cost of the workshops is nominal since it reflects the costs of materials plus a $5.00 fee that goes into the general fund. Ed Nock and Pat Lemley work hard to put together a series of workshops that are interesting, and provide challenges for those willing to venture out. Pat Lemley allows the use of his most ample shop for most of the workshops, while Dick Bowen has been hosting one of the most popular workshop for many years…. The Shaker Box Workshop. Some of the workshops are open to non-members on a space available basis and at a slightly increased fee. Our experience has been that most workshops have been well attended. For obvious space limitations the size of the group is limited, and thus early registration is paramount
